Lib(r)arby Closure

Woah, its done. I finally got this site to a good-enough-to-be-visited state! I have been working on this thing for Months and it feels like a huge weight has been lifted. Alot of the time i spent building this thing was honestly just getting the design right (and some CSS stuff but thats for later), i tried drawing up a Bunch of different layouts and none of them really clicked.. and to be honest... I totally stole this one! I basically stole the layout from hey-auden (please visit his site, its really nice!) after coming across it and saying "woah this is super nice looking i sure wish i had a website that looked exactly like this".

Creative issues aside... dealing with CSS was also a huge reason why it took me so long to publish this thing. I swear i was stuck for like 2 weeks trying to figure out why the hell align-content wouldnt work just so i could add navigation buttons on the banner! I know im very much a novice to this stuff but i dont care, its still stupid and dumb!! It was So frustrating and after finding out a work around using the position property i realised.... I DIDNT EVEN LIKE IT!!! I spent so long trying to figure it out i didnt even take a second to ask myself if i wanted it in the first place!!! At that point i was just frustrated with myself...

But after all that, everything went (mostly) smoothly. I really like how it all turned out, i used 20px Comic Sans with anti-aliasing turned off for all the header text and buttons and i think it makes the site look alot more interesting if i had just used the usual header tags, though having to work with all those images was kinda tiring. Luckily alot of those images were reused from my previous site but still, i wonder if it wouldve been easier to just make it a font.. anyways, too late late now!

Theres still some things that annoy me though.. the logo and randomized text arent exactly centered, and theres a bunch of empty space on the left of the banner and top of the navigation bar, actually i think the entirety of the navigation bar irks me. And my button while... fine... is still kinda ugly, i wanna make a new one soon, but ill do that later probably (not).

... is this too long to be considered smaller-than-average? im not sure, ive never written a blogpost! now scram!!!!!!!
